16 ounces Farmland Hickory Smoked Classic Cut Bacon 2 pounds Fresh Green Beans, Ends Snipped 1/2 cup Sliced Almonds 2 tablespoons Lemon Zest

Directions
1Preheat the oven to 375ºF.
2Bring a large pot of salted water to a rapid boil.
3Blanch the green beans until just bright green, then plunge into an ice water bath to stop the cooking.
4Drain the green beans well and dry completely with a clean dish towel.
5On a clean prep surface, lay out three slices of bacon with the sides overlapping and running vertically.
6Repeat with remaining slices of bacon, dividing the green beans evenly over each of the groups of bacon.
7Roll the beans into a tight package and place seam side down on a backing sheet fitted with a rack.
8Bake for about 15 minutes or until the bacon is just crispy and brown. Top with the almonds and bake for another 3 minutes to toast.
9Remove from the oven and transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with lemon zest and serve hot.
