  • 2 cans Canned Baked Beans, 22-Ounce2 cans
  • 1 Medium green pepper, diced1
  • 1 Medium sweet onion, diced1
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic powder1 tablespoon
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika1 tablespoon
  • 1 teaspoon Salt1 teaspoon
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper1 teaspoon
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar2 tablespoons
  • 4 tablespoons Smoky BBQ Sauce4 tablespoons
  • 2 tablespoons Mustard2 tablespoons
  • 2 tablespoons Hot sauce2 tablespoons
  • 2 tablespoons Bourbon2 tablespoons

Instructions


  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F

  2. Preheat a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Cook the bacon pieces for 2-3 minutes on each side until the fat is rendered, but the bacon is not fully crisp

  3. Set aside the bacon and add the green peppers and onions to the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes

  4. Add the remaining ingredients along with the baked beans to the skillet

  5. Place the bacon pieces on top of the baked beans

  6. Cook uncovered for 1 hour and 30 minutes until the mixture thickens
