Spread 1 cup cheese evenly into the pie crust then layer evenly with ham, corn, and chives. Scatter remaining 1 cup of cheese evenly over the chive layer. Set aside
In a large bowl, combine cream, eggs, salt, and pepper, whisking well. Pour over ingredients in a prepared pan
Bake until the quiche is slightly puffed and lightly browned, 30 to 40 minutes. Let cool to room temperature before removing from the pan
Garnish individual servings with corn kernels and chives, if desired
