Farmland Hickory Smoked Thick Cut Bacon, diced

1 1/2 pounds
Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
1 1/2 pounds
3 cloves
Garlic, minced
3 cloves
1 cup
Heavy cream
1 cup
1/2 teaspoon
Kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper, freshly cracked
1/2 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon
Ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon
Ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon
1/2 cup
Grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup
1/4 cup
White cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
1/4 cup

Directions


  1. Cook diced Farmland Hickory Smoked Thick Cut Bacon in a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat for 5 minutes, until crispy. Drain on a paper-towel-lined plate. Set aside

  2. Reserve 2 tablespoons of bacon fat in the skillet. Add diced brussels sprouts and cook for 8 minutes. Add garlic, and sauté for 1 minute, or until fragrant

  3. Add heavy cream, salt, black pepper, nutmeg, and cloves. Whisk mixture together and let it simmer for 5 minutes

  4. Turn off the heat and add parmesan and white cheddar cheese. Stir to melt

  5. Add the bacon back to the skillet and stir to combine. Serve.Reserve 2 tablespoons of bacon fat in the skillet. Add diced brussels sprouts and cook for 8 minutes. Add garlic, and sauté for 1 minute, or until fragrant
