Ingredients

  • 5 slices Farmland Hickory Smoked Classic Cut Bacon, chopped5 slices
  • 1 pound Farmland Original Pork Sausage Roll1 pound
  • 1 cup Yellow Onion, diced1 cup
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Garlic, minced1 teaspoon
  • 3 tablespoon Butter3 tablespoon
  • 20 Frozen Potato and Cheese Pierogies (or any flavor)20
  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream1 cup
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese2 cups
  • Parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions


  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF

  2. In a large, oven-safe skillet over medium heat, add bacon pieces and cook until crispy. Set aside in a medium bowl

  3. Add onions and sausage, cooking until onion is translucent, 10-15 minutes. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute. Transfer the mixture to a bowl with the bacon. Tent it with aluminum foil to keep warm

  4. In the same skillet, add butter. Once hot, add pierogies and sear on all sides, about 5-8 minutes

  5. Add meat mixture back into the skillet with the pierogies and stir to combine

  6. Reduce heat to medium low. Add heavy cream and cook until thickened

  7. Top mixture with cheese and transfer skillet to oven. Bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and browned

  8. Remove from the oven, garnish with parsley, and serve hot
