Mushrooms, sliced

Brown sugar, packed

Soy sauce
1/2 cup
2 tablespoons
Rice vinegar
2 tablespoons
1 teaspoon
Fresh ginger, grated
1 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper, freshly cracked
1/2 teaspoon
1/2 cup
Green onions, sliced, for garnish
1/2 cup
1 tablespoon
Cornstarch
1 tablespoon
1/4 cup
Water
1/4 cup
1/4 teaspoon
Crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon

Directions


  1. Cook the Farmland Original Pork Sausage Roll in a large skillet over medium-high heat, until cooked through and no longer pink. Empty cooked sausage to a plate and set aside.

  2. Drain grease from the skillet and add olive oil

  3. Add onions, bell peppers, snap peas, and mushrooms. Sauté for 4-5 minutes or until tender. Add minced garlic to the pan and continue to cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant

  4. Add cooked ground sausage back into the skillet with vegetable mixture

  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Pour mixture over ground sausage and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

  6. In a separate small bowl, mix cornstarch with water and stir until smooth. Add the mixture to skillet and stir for 2 minutes, until sauce thickens

  7. Garnish with sliced green onion and crushed red pepper flakes. Serve over cooked rice
