12 ounces Farmland Original Pork Sausage Roll
 
2 Red Bell Peppers
 
2 Yellow Bell Peppers
 
1/2 cup Yellow Onion, Diced
 
4 cloves Fresh Garlic, Minced
 
14 ounces Tomato Puree
 
2 tablespoons Chili Powder
 
2 teaspoons Ground Cumin, 2 teaspoons
 
1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
 
1 teaspoon Hot Sauce
 
2 cups Cooked Rice
 
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
 
1/4 cup Green Onions, Sliced Thin

Directions
1Preheat the oven to 375ºF.
2Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat and brown the sausage, breaking up any clumps. Drain off the excess fat
3Add the onion and garlic and continue cooking until the onions are translucent.
4Cut the peppers in half from top to bottom. Remove seeds and place in a lightly greased baking dish.
5Add the tomato puree, chili powder, cumin, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce to the sausage mixture. Cook for about 5 minutes.
6Add the rice to the sausage mixture and fold together to combine.
7Spoon the mixture into each of the pepper halves. Top with the cheese and bake for 20-25 minutes or until peppers are tender and the cheese is just starting to brown.
8Remove from the oven and garnish with green onions. Serve immediately.
