AboutThis luscious lasagna gets a breakfast spin thanks to layers of our sizzlin’ Hickory Smoked Bacon, eggs, and cheddar cheese baked in a savory sausage gravy. Just pop in the oven, and your family will happily devour it any time of day!

Ingredients
 
16 ouncesOriginal Pork Sausage Roll, 16 oz.
 
9 Lasagna Noodles, Cooked
 
1/2 cup Yellow Onion, Minced
 
4 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
 
4 cups Whole Milk
 
2 tablespoons Rubbed Sage
 
16 ounces Shredded Cheddar Cheese
 
8 Eggs, Whisked
Directions
1Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
2Heat a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the sausage, browning well and breaking up any large clumps.
3Add the onion and sauté until translucent.
4Whisk in the flour, and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly.
5Whisk in the milk and sage, stirring constantly, and bring to a simmer.
6Cook the gravy, stirring often, for about 10 minutes.
7While the gravy is cooking, dice the bacon and render until crispy, and drain on paper towels.
8To assemble: Place a small amount of the gravy in the bottom of a 9x13 glass baking dish. Layer three of the lasagna noodles on top of the gravy, top with 1/3 of the remaining gravy, then 1/3 of the rendered bacon, and 1/4 cup of the shredded cheese.
9Repeat the process two more times, pour the eggs over the lasagna, then top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
10Bake for 45 minutes or until melty and just beginning to brown.
11Allow to rest for 5 minutes and serve hot.
