Preheat the grill to 350ºF
Combine beer, mustard, clove, orange marmalade, and brown sugar in a bowl to create a glaze mixture
Grill the ham steak 2 to 3 minutes per side to form grill marks. Brush each side with the glazing mixture
Add 2 ounces of cheese on the top of each ham steak and let melt for 1 minute
Place on sourdough bread and serve
